Easy Cleaner Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Easy Cleaner ("we") handles information when you use the Easy Cleaner mobile app. It applies only to this app. Last updated September 6, 2026.
What this app does on your device
Easy Cleaner is an on-device cleaner. Scanning, matching, merging, and deleting happen on your phone. We do not operate an account system and we do not upload your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, or Secret Space files to our servers.
Information the app accesses
- Photo library — used only after you grant permission, to find similar photos, duplicate photos, screenshots, and videos, and to delete items you confirm. Export from Secret Space may save files back to your library.
- Contacts — used only after you grant permission, to find duplicate contacts, merge them with your confirmation, and create or restore a local vCard backup on this device.
- Calendar — used only after you grant permission, to list events and delete the ones you confirm.
- Camera and microphone — used only if you capture a private photo or video into Secret Space.
- Face ID / device biometrics — used only if you turn on biometric unlock for Secret Space. The biometric template stays in the system secure enclave; the app only receives a yes/no unlock result.
- Disk space — used to show how much storage is free and used on this device.
What we store locally
- Secret Space media is stored in the app sandbox, outside the system gallery. The PIN is stored as a salted SHA-256 hash, not in plain text. If you forget the PIN and cannot use biometrics, we cannot recover that space.
- Contact backups you create stay as local files on this device.
- Preferences such as language, theme, and Secret Space settings stay in local app storage.
What we do not collect
This version does not create an account, does not require a purchase, and does not send analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reports, or your media to a backend. Debug builds may print event names only on the developer console.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use your photos to recognize people or build a face profile.
Sharing
The app may open your email app when you send feedback, so the message goes directly from your device to [email protected]. Store review prompts, if you choose to rate the app, are handled by Apple or Google.
Children
Easy Cleaner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will be posted at this URL and in Settings. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
