LEDBANNER / LEGAL
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the LedBanner app and its legal-document website handle information. The service operator is ColorfulMoon. Contact mgming03@outlook.com for privacy questions, rights requests, or product support, including questions about website visits and support records described below.
1. How the app works
LedBanner lets you edit, save, and display LED banners on your device. The current version has no registration, account login, advertisements, advertising-identifier tracking, or subscriptions. Its core features operate offline by default. Starting the app or entering settings does not make the legal module contact a server. It requests legal information only when you actively open a legal page or explicitly refresh legal information. Reading a legal document does not require agreement to additional data uses and does not give consent to advertising or unrelated processing.
2. Your creations, settings, and permissions
Text, banner styles, saved creations, and app settings are processed and stored on your device. Editing, displaying, or saving them does not upload them to us. Legal links, document update information, and a confirmed support address may be cached on the device for later display. This module does not persist raw network errors. These features do not request your contacts, precise location, microphone, account details, or advertising identifier.
Only when you initiate an export or share action does the app pass the chosen content to the system save or share flow and request any permission required by the system. You select the destination and recipient, may cancel, and may manage permissions in system settings. Exported files, photo libraries, chosen third-party apps, and system backups may have their own storage and synchronization rules. We cannot remotely delete those copies. Avoid including information in a banner that you do not want visible on a screen, in an exported file, or to your chosen recipient.
Whether system backups occur, what they include, and how they are restored depend on the operating system and your device or cloud-backup settings. The app does not guarantee that its data is excluded from system backups. Its lack of automatic creation uploads does not mean that data can never leave the device.
3. Network information when you open legal pages
Opening the legal API or website requires a connection. To deliver the page and protect the service, network participants may receive your IP address, request time and path, the User-Agent supplied by your browser or network client, language, and protocol information. The API uses a fixed app=ledbanner parameter. It does not include creations, account details, unique device identifiers, or advertising identifiers. The app does not attach banner text to legal URLs.
This legal service creates no user profiles and uses no login, cookies, forms, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers. It does not write individual requests to an application access log. The supplied Nginx legal routes disable access logging and do not forward Cookie, Authorization, or client-IP headers to the application. DNS, hosting, CDN, reverse-proxy, and security services may nevertheless handle connection information independently. Absence of application logging does not establish absence of records across the delivery network.
Actual infrastructure, information handled, and processing locations: The legal website runs on a server maintained by the operator, with Tencent Cloud server hosting and Cloudflare DNS and, where enabled, network proxy services for delivery. Connection information is used to deliver pages and protect the service; it contains no banner creations. Support uses Microsoft Outlook, which receives the message and sender information only when you send an email. Network routing and providers' processing and backup locations may differ and may be outside your region; the server location does not establish every provider's processing location. We do not claim that these network or email services process information only on your device.
4. Information you send to support
The in-app email action opens your email application; it does not send a message automatically. If you choose to send one, we receive your sender address, message, and any screenshots or files you attach. We use them to answer your question, handle rights requests, or resolve faults. Send only what is needed, and do not send passwords, keys, or unrelated sensitive information. The support email provider processes messages according to its service settings; its identity, processing location, and retention arrangements must be included in the infrastructure disclosure above.
5. Purposes, legal grounds, and sharing
We handle necessary information to provide legal documents you request, respond to support and rights requests, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal ground is required, the relevant ground depends on the activity, such as providing a service you request, meeting an applicable legal obligation, or obtaining consent where required. Additional processing that requires consent will be separately explained and agreed to before it starts. Declining additional processing does not prevent use of offline core features.
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising profiles or tracking across apps. Hosting, network-security, and email providers disclosed in this policy may process necessary information to deliver pages and replies. The operator is responsible for agreements and settings that restrict their purposes and retention. Where disclosure is legally required or needed to address a security incident, we limit it to information that is permitted and necessary. Recipients you choose when sharing handle the content you send under their own arrangements.
6. Retention and deletion
Local creations and settings remain until you delete the relevant content, clear app data, or uninstall the app, using the options available in your device system and current app interface. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove system backups, exports, or recipients' copies; manage those at their respective locations. The legal-link cache can be cleared with app data and is not an account or consent record.
The legal-service process handles requests in memory for the time needed to respond and does not persist request information. Infrastructure logs, security records, backups, and deletion rules: This legal service does not persist individual request information. The dedicated Nginx routes disable access logs, and the legal container disables retained logs. Network providers may process and retain connection records under their actual service settings and security or legal obligations; this is distinct from the application's in-memory processing. We do not promise that the entire delivery network is record-free or that all providers use one fixed retention period. Contact the email address in this policy for processing and deletion information we can provide. Records required by law are limited to the necessary scope and period.
Support messages are retained only as necessary to answer questions, handle rights requests, or resolve faults. Once the matter is closed and the information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize correspondence under our control, except for necessary records required by law or an unresolved dispute, explaining the reason where permitted. The email provider's backups and security records follow its actual deletion mechanisms; deleting a message does not promise immediate removal from every backup. You may request deletion of your support correspondence using the email address in this policy.
We do not recreate absent access records or upload local creations to answer an inquiry.
7. Choices and rights
You may avoid opening web pages, cancel exports or sharing, and revoke system permissions while continuing to use features that do not depend on those actions. For personal information we actually hold, applicable law may give you rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, a copy, or data portability. You may withdraw consent to processing based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.
Contact mgming03@outlook.com with the type of request, your interaction, and its approximate date. We request only verification necessary to prevent unauthorized disclosure or deletion and respond within applicable legal deadlines. We may be unable to identify information that was never retained or delete creations held only on your device. We will explain those limits and available local actions.
8. Minors
The app is a general banner tool and does not ask for an age or create children's accounts. Minors should follow local law and the store age rating and use the app with a guardian's guidance where required. Obtain any legally required guardian consent before exporting personal information or sending support messages. We do not seek to collect minors' personal information. If you believe a minor has sent information to support that should not be retained, contact mgming03@outlook.com so we can investigate and take deletion or other required action. The operator must confirm distribution regions, intended ages, and any parental measures before release.
9. Security and processing locations
Public legal addresses use HTTPS. This service uses limited read-only routes, no web scripts, limits on request size and connection time, and avoids persistent request records. The operator is responsible for server updates, access controls, email security, and the disclosed deletion procedures. No device or network can guarantee absolute security. We will address incidents affecting personal information and provide notices as required by applicable law.
Website visits and support messages may be processed in the locations listed in the infrastructure disclosure. Where international-transfer safeguards, notices, or consent are required, they must be implemented under applicable law. This policy does not replace those requirements with consent inferred from use. Device vendors, app stores, browsers, and backup or sharing services you choose may also process information under their independent policies.
10. Changes and contact
The version and effective date appear at the top of this page. Material changes to data types, purposes, sharing, or rights will receive appropriate prominent notice. Where renewed consent is required, it will be requested before the new processing begins. Updating a web page does not itself authorize new processing for existing users. Contact mgming03@outlook.com for help or information about previous versions. The Chinese and English texts are intended to have the same meaning; ambiguities are interpreted with applicable law and your non-waivable statutory rights preserved.
